Private members bill should be supported, says letter writer

Those of us in the Lindsay area know personally about Guaranteed Livable Income.

GLI programs have proven to be effective in lifting people out of poverty.In addition GLI enables participants to achieve independence and further their life’s goals.

We are pleased to know that a private members Bill promoting GLI will be presented to The House of Commons the week of September 16. This will be Bill 223’s second reading and if it passes it will go to Committee for discussion. We think it will do well there.

We all need to contact our MP and push him to support this Bill.
