New website featuring videos of people who received basic income, and new book released

A researcher’s work on basic income has culminated in a new book and a series of videos and blogs about actual people who received basic income during the now-cancelled Ontario Basic Income Pilot.

Elaine Power’s book The Case for Basic Income: Freedom, Security, Justice (co-written with Jamie Swift) looks at what the pilot accomplished and the aftermath of the prematurely cancelled pilot.

Her website, No One Left Behind, features short videos of some research participants, and accompanying blogs providing background information.

“I am deeply grateful to those who had the courage to share their stories,” comments Power, “and to Craig Berggold for his video editing and social media expertise.”
