BICN Annual General Meeting

The BICN Annual Report for 2021-22 is out now, highlighting a year of some remarkable achievements in challenging times and the seeds of an even greater push going forward.

BICN’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is happening, virtually, on Thursday, May 26 at 7p.m. ET and it’s a public meeting. Attendance was higher than usual last year and we hope for a great turnout this time too. Please save the date.

Our AGMs are usually friendly and informal. We’ll review highlights from the Annual Report, announce the results of Board elections, and answer any questions people have about the Report. From then on we encourage open, constructive conversation among participants to share knowledge, concerns, thoughts and ideas, especially about actions that people think are working—or new strategies that could work—so that the movement for a basic income keeps growing larger and more effective. It’s important that we at BICN listen and engage with what matters to you.

If you are interested in joining us, you can RSVP to info@basicincomecanada.org, mentioning ‘AGM’ in the subject line. When we get closer to the event, we’ll send you a Zoom link. If you have any questions you can send them too.
